Our Trip to Cassis

On Saturday we went with the group to a nearby town, about 20 minutes west, called Cassis. It is famous for its Calanques, which are like little coves alone the coast. Our group got a private boat tour of the three best calanques. Afterwards we ate pizza and gelato on the beach. Then we walked around the adorable town for awhile. It was so quant and clean and we want to go back often.
Miss you all!

More pictures!

The weeks are flyin' by!

Hey Y'all!! Hope everyone is doing well, enjoying the beautiful California weather we're hearing about! We made it through our first week (Mon.-Wed.) of school! Somehow we managed to fit 30 hours into 3 days, yikes. We went on a beautiful hike, climb at some points, to the Mediterranean today, it was really nice to get out of the city and see the ocean again. We've been getting our regular workouts in with the bus drivers going on strike, forcing us to walk to and from school. Tomorrow we're going with other people from our group to Cassis, a small neighboring provincial town.  Enjoy the pictures, wish you were all here! Love and Hugs. -Logan & Lauren

Logan's Birthday!

Last night we went to Baloo, a bar downtown, to celebrate Logan's 21st. Then this morning we woke up earlier than normal (11) to explore downtown and the port area. The day started off with quite an unfunny joke. A man offered to take a picture of us in front of the port and after he took are picture he started to run away with Logan's camera. He ran quite a few feet before he turned back. We both had such a heart attack we had to sit down afterwards.
Next we searched for a cafe and ended up sitting at a place port-side where we had hot chocolate and croissants after trying to order in French. The experience was really frustrating at first, but after we succeeded we felt very accomplished. Later we shopped around the city and Logan found the jacket she had wanted at an H & M in San Diego which she was excited about. Then we made our way back on a crowded bus after missing our stop and having to wait in the freezing cold up the hill. Now we are about to make some pasta for dinner, like every other night so far. The rest of the night we will be getting ourselves ready for our first day of school tomorrow.
We miss you all!

We attempted to take the bus to school but they weren't running due to the weather. It's snowed 3-4 feet and its still coming down!! It's soo beautiful.

The messy unpacked room is Logan's.
Lauren is sitting at her very organized desk!
